hallo every body,
i must say at the beginning that i'm new and testing to create my virtuell environment.

I have installed Proxmox on an intel motherboard. attached is also a picture of that.

i've installed PiHole without any problems and it runs well for the installation of OPNsense i'm not getting success. the error is also attached it is" could not read from cd room code 0004).
i tried from 3 images .iso but i have always the same error.

it can be a very simple change or maybe a failure of thinking from me.

i am glad to get help here.

can ou try with another OS iso ? like debian , windows, etc

i can install ubuntu-20.04.1-desktop-amd64 and the installation is going on well. i even don't get any errors!

i must say that the type of cpu is "host" and i have aes active all the time for the opnsense virtuel machine!

OK, did you call at your pve that it's not a linux VM, but another OS in your options ? Try with pfsense too, it's the source of opnsense, forked from pfsense

thanks alot.. i knew that i have a small problem. i have wrongly chose linux vm after changing it. its now done
