Installation black screen

Hi i have been a long time user and wanned to start trieng out the new 2.0 distro.

Wail installing i came across a problem.

I do get the proxmox screen in witch is say's boot:.
i just press enter for a regular installation, the cd starts working really hard and the screen goes black and stays like that.

Is there any known fix for this?
I'am using a super-server.

I had this problem before but installing 1.4 and upgrading always worked fine for me.
But since 2.0 cant be upgraded and it it a hell of a job to always upgrade the systems in a new install.

Can this be fixed ?

Could be, but i dont really understand his sollucion.
He has some how preset the right vesa resolution ?
I can try to add a old pci card , but doubt if i still have one.

Are you able to clearify?

I finely have found a solution.
Although i can not use my system to its full extend due to it.

I have a 2 socked system with 2 L5420 cpu's.
If i take out one of the 2, doesn't mater which, it works.
I tried to put it back in after the installation but it hangs.

It gives a notice CPU: xx stuck (in which xx states a number)

any thoughts on this, maybe a bug in 2.0?
