Hi everyone,

I have recently bought a refurbished Lenovo ThinkCentre m900 with a 250 GB SATA3 SSD and a 1TB M.2 NVME disk. I was wondering which disk I should use as the target of the installation.

I was thinking of using the 250GB SSD as the target as well as storage for backups, ISOs, etc., and then install all the VMs on the faster NVME disk.

What do you recommend?

Proxmox does not need high performance, and even a spinning HDD is good enough. Use the drive with the most IOPS for running VMs, which I suspect is the NVMe.
