I would very much like to run proxmox. I have read all the posts from 2018 back detailing the negatives. This is 2021. I would like to run proxmox in the same way on the sd card that esxi does. Is there a way to have proxmox be as lightweight on the cards as is esxi? Is there a way to get close? This is for my own personal server and not for any commercial use. I plan on using Sandisk’s extreme pro 170mbps cards…. Either 32gb or 64gb. It is a Dell r820 with the idsdm option module. If I understand things, this is redundant in and of itself. (2 cards …… 1 is duplicated to 2). The server has 128gb ram.
