Hello,

I'm a newbies on proxmox.
I'd like to install proxmox on one disk (a small one) and VM or LXC on an other one (a bigger one).
Both disks are SSD on the same machine.

Is it possible to do that ?
How ?

Thanks a lot for your answers.

Yes it is, while installing Proxmox you would select the first disk as the installation destination. Once Proxmox is set up, you can then add the second disk as storage for your VMs through the GUI. You can do that by first navigating to [Node Name] > Disks and initializing the disk with a GPT. Then you can go to e.g. [Node Name] > Disks > Directory and configure a directory storage there. Alternatively you can also choose LVM, LVM thin or ZFS depending on your needs. You can read more about storage in the manual [1].
