install pacemaker on a proxmox node

@symcomm - My plan was like to use DRBD replication with pacemaker and to attach that HA NFS on the proxmox. Does this work if i use separate storage server and install pacemaker inside them?
If you use separate machines with a linux OS such as Ubuntu for example to setup NFS server, for sure it will work. Personally though, i am not a big fan of DRBD. If you do not want to move to CEPH and want something like DRBD, i would suggest use GlusterFS. It is much simple to setup and manage also it is scalable. DRBD good for just nodes in mirror, but not sure it even has option for scalability.

@liska - I have no idea about GLusterFS. Can i install glusterfs alongwith proxmox? Does it provide device level replication like DRBD? What are its pros when comapared to DRBD ?
GlusterFS works perfectly with Proxmox. After Proxmox added GlusterFS plugin for storage, it is now even better supported. As i metioned above, GlusterFS is a better choice in my opnion.

Yes, you can install gluster on the a node without any problem as described in my previous post. But gluster does file level replication so it is more similar to NFS than CEPH which is closer to drbd or cLVM in my opinion.
In comparison to DRBD it offers scalability, HA by desgin and it is much more easier to setup. I use sucessfuly drbd with corosync now for few years with some minor split brain problems, but now I go with glusterfs. In the latest version it offers also the file snapshot, which could be very beneficial.
