Hello everyone,
First thanks for this forum :) Very useful.

I was wondering (I searched in Google a lot..), If I can add OpenVZ VM on another disks, because I can't add other storages for OpenVZ VMs in Proxmox Admin, just for KVM VMs..

Must I use the "vzctl" in command line to specify the directory ? (New raid1 hard drive mounted) + 2 SSD (full)

Thanks for your replies.

I'm looking for an solution for this problem, too.

In my setting I have a fast (SSD) and a few not so fast harddisks and i try to seperate my VM's between them. This works very well for KVM. Would be very nice if it's possible for OpenVZ too because it's the easiest and fastest way to build a VM.

Or is this not possible because of limitation of OpenVZ?

yes, openvz can only use one local storage (mounted on /var/lib/vz). we discussed this already with the openvz team but they do not think this is useful. try to convince them!
