Install on btrfs howto?

Hi, I am contemplating a new server setup with proxmox.
Can someone point me to help/howto on setup and config the single node server with btrfs. Yes I prefer btrfs over zfs or lvm.
I am currently running file server on opensusi 13.1 with 4t btrfd volume and would like to keep the existing volumes as is if possible

you have to install first a Debian and then install Proxmox on top of it.

I don't think I will go that route. I am not good with Linux yet to support Debian distro. Guess will stick with my opensusi setup a bit longer
