Install Not Functioning as Intended

I wish to install Proxmox on hardware but instead of acting like a server, act as if it is running Virtualbox as an Operating System.

Essentially I desire the PC running Proxmox to act as a workstation instead of a server.

Is this even possible?

PVE is build on top of Debian - and for the greatest part you can just setup software (like an x-server, a desktop environment, etc.)

In fact we use such a setup here for our daily work.
