install ftp-client?

I had to install Proxmox VE 8.0.3 again, but now I can not copy files from my NAS via FTP (copying ISO files into /var/lib/vz/template/iso).
There is not FTP-client on Proxmox.
But I could use FTP on my previous installation, using Proxmox as FTP-client.
Now I only have SFTP, which is much slower.
I even can not install ftp from the repositories with apt install...
WTF?

OK, I got it.
Because I have no Enterprise subscription, I needed the pve-no-subscription repository.
http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve
Now I could install FTP-client.

Just curious: Why would you want to use an FTP client? That technology died (besides anonymous use) in the 90s.

It's still the fastest method to copy ISO files from my NAS to my Proxmox.
It is just a personal installation for testing different Linux-distributions in my home-LAN.

I store my ISO files on my TrueNAS Scale server and share them with NFS. On Proxmox I selected the Datacenter and created an NFS storage of type ISO. Then Proxmox can see all the dozens of ISO files I have without copying files around. Just a thought.
