I've done this in the past and not sure why it's not working now. I'm no Linux guru either, so that doesn't help. I've been Googling for the past couple hours and can't find an answer, so hopefully someone on here can help. This is the command I'm using and it's saying the storage ID contains illegal characters. Thoughts?

qm importdisk 103 '/VM_Storage/Win2K8 R2 Ent x64.vmdk' /VM_Storage --format raw

400 Parameter verification failed.
storage: invalid format - storage ID '/VM_Storage' contains illegal characters

qm importdisk 103 '/VM_Storage/Win2K8 R2 Ent x64.vmdk' /VM_Storage --format raw

Does you storage name actually begin with a /? I don't think that is possible. What is the output of qm importdisk 103 '/VM_Storage/Win2K8 R2 Ent x64.vmdk' VM_Storage --format raw?
EDIT: Look in /etc/pve/storage.cfg to find the names of your defined storages that you can use (don't use tthe mount path, use the name instead).

Wow! That was it. Thought it needed the /
Thank you.
