Import a VMware Machine from VM Workstation

THX but this complicated for a newbie

Newbie Solution!
I noticed that Proxmos also uses *.vmd

When I set up a VM in Proxmax with same settings as in VM Workstation
it puts a file in the directory for disks
e.g.
vm-100-disk-0.vmdk

Can I simply replace this file with the Disk from VM workstation?
And maybe edit some config file of the VM in Proxmox?

Will this Work as described or similar?
What do You Think?

The emulated hardware will be different. You should also make sure that the vmware guest tools are not installed.

You can try if this works. With a bit of luck it will.
