Hi *,

I'm getting probs with my VZ disk space.
Is it possible (and feasible) to move the ./vz/images directory elsewhere (i.e. on an NAS) and point a symbolic link to the new location?

Thanx,

j.

Hi,
why you want do that? Images is for kvm-only. So why you don't create a new storage on the NAS, and use them for the kvm-vms?

Hi Udo,

thanks for the answer.
>why you want do that? Images is for kvm-only.
Two large, steady growing Windows VMs reside in that IMAGES dir, and it its foreseeable that they will outgrow the free space in the partition. I would like to move them to an NAS dir mounted by NFS.

After your hint I saw that it is possible to create an NFS storage via the Proxmox-GUI. If I can use this to store the VMs, that would do it.

Thanx again,

Joachim
