I can't start WIndows 11 and I installed proxmox in Virtualbox. What am I missing..?

In the VirtualBox go to Proxmox Host and in the Settings, System look for Acceleration and enable below:

1. Enable VT-x/AMD-V
2. Enable Nested Paging

In the Hardware of Windows 11 VM Set following:

SCSI Controller = VirtIO SCSI single

All enabled and I changed SCSI controller. But the same problem still persists... and "guest has not initialized the display (yet)" comes out when I boot for the first time.

Can you disable Windows Hyper-V and related features in VM (Windows) inside VirtualBox?

Please confirm following in the Proxmox Host:

Shutdown the Proxmox Host and set following:

System / Acceleration

Ensure BOTH: Enable VT-x/AMD-V Enable Nested Paging

System Processor

CPUs = Min 2
Execution Cap = 100%
Enable PAE/NX = ON


In the Windows 11 VM check and correct following

In the BIOS Setting:



BIOS = OVMF (UEFI)
Display = SPICE
Memory = 64 MB



machine = q35


And start the VM
