Hello. Today install Proxmox for my virtualization servers.

But I have a problem. I create a virtual machine with windows XP 32bit MICRO (NAT MODE) and it has no network. Lacks the "drivers" and not putting on. Wear all afternoon with the same problem.

Do you have any idea? Thank you very much.

And sorry my english :SSS

hi, you don't provide many details. difficult to say what is not working

I guess you have not much experience, so try use realtek card, and bridged mode.
just to start and make experience.

it's not difficult but you should follow wiki installation guides
at least

Thanks for responding!

I leave a picture of my setup and what I get.

I need the NAT mode to use the same IP that the machine itself.

thx!

I just tried, on my 3.1-24
created new vm (linux 2.6) with sysresccd live iso 2.70 (quite old but...), with default settings, NAT mode.
After boot, I have an IP address (10.x.x.x) and I can wget from google.com

So, the NAT setting works. It coudl be your CD, install, drivers...

Try to use a livecd as I did (ubuntu or else), and test that NAT is working.
If it is working, try again, perhaps with another winxp (xp..really?) cd and reinstall...
