I can't seem to be able to access my 2nd drive after reboot.

So I install proxmox a while ago. It works fine even updated it, etc. I have 3 servers remote for learning / having fun with nothing professional, etc.

My third box on the datacenter after a reboot lost contact with the 2nd drive sort of... I can't access it when adding a new container / vm nor can I delete old containers. I think I think I derped up maybe don't have the drive auto starting correctly.

Via Proxmox it says it's /dev/sdb and the health is great. I used fdisk via ssh to the same location and showed the correct info.

I guess from here as I'm quite a indeterminate I'm wondering how I can jump start it again. There is no sensitive data so I don't mind losing it on that disk.

Thanks!

what kind of storage did you put on that disk (lvm, lvmthin, filesystem, etc. )?
did you forget to add the storage definiton to pve (only creating a filesystem eg. is not enought, proxmox ve has to know about it)

Thanks for getting back to me. I did this a very very long time ago. From what I recall the Promox is installed on a old HD and the SD was added in as a second drive.

I ran these commands via it's history:
Code:

    2 pvecm add 192.168.1.31
    3 pvecm add 192.168.1.31

As you can see I was derpy and not doing things right. In a perfect world I would do a fresh start but I feel like I have not compromised the OS itself was even able to update it. Just the darn SSD I can't see to be able to attach to it.
