Hello, first of all, sorry for my English as it is not my native language.

On my Proxmox 7.4-3 server I have a virtual machine running Windows Server 2022 with the QEMU agent installed and all drivers updated since virtio 0.1.229 (Windows itself is also updated).

With the "Display" setting to "Default" I cannot change the screen resolution of the Windows server:

The only way I can change the screen resolution is with the "Display" setting in "VirtIO-GPU", but with that setting I can't connect to noVNC.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The VM is using UEFI/OVMF right? In that case you need to set the resolution in the BIOS/UEFI during VM startup.

Alternatively, you could use RDP to access the VM directly. Spice would also work, but RDP is usually the better choice for Windows VMs.

Thank you very much @aaron

You are right, I am using UEFI/OVMF. I have accessed the configuration and it does not let me save the configuration:

I searched about that error and found this:

The same thing happens to me, I have version 3.20221111-1 of the pve-edk2-firmware package, version 3.20230228-1 is supposed to be fixed and available for the repository without subscription but from my Proxmox I can't get that version.

Is there anything else I can do?

Sorry, on this Proxmox server I don't have the pve-no-subscription repository enabled as it is a production server.

Is there any solution for a production server?
