HI Guys
I know it is notoriously difficult to get Hypland running in VM but it is possible from there docs and many have done it via Virt-Manager.
But it seems very difficult in Proxmox can anybody help me work out if its possible and the correct setting?
I have tried there suggestion you need to set UEFI and you must have 3D acceleration enabled (i dont see this option to tick on mine)

When i boot i get this error see image below

My settings are

From their docs

Code:
In a VM, make sure you have 3D acceleration enabled in your virtio config (or virt-manager) otherwise Hyprland will not work.

You can also passthru a GPU to make it work.

Please bear in mind 3D accel in VMs may be pretty slow.

Hi, the "Access Denied" message (second line in your first screenshot) sounds like Secure Boot prevents the installation ISO from booting. You could either try re-creating the VM with "Pre-enrolled keys" unchecked, or deactivating Secure Boot in the VM (by pressing ESC during boot to enter the OVMF menu, navigating to "Device Manager"/"Secure Boot Configuration" and unchecking "Attempt Secure Boot").

Proxmox is not designed to provide 3D acceleration, like VirtualBox etc. Use VirGL with a GPU on the host or use GPU passthrough.

I have manged to get it to boot arch and install a little sluggish but proof it works
But i get a warning from Task panel

Code:
()
WARN: no efidisk configured! Using temporary efivars disk.
TASK WARNINGS: 1
So i have tried adding one but that breaks it
I have already gone into secure boot it is disabled
