I am on ProxMox version 7.4-3 trying to gain mouse and keyboard functionality on an Ubuntu 22.04 Hyper-V I have transferred from a windows 10 pc.
I have used the following tutorial and cmds to transfer the ".vhdx" file to a ".qcow2" file and I can confirm I am able to boot up and get into the desktop (please see attached screenshots) but I am not able to use my mouse or keyboard with noVNC. I have also tried adding a mouse and keyboard to the host pc and adding them to the VM as USB devices and this gave me no functionality as well. In the screenshot you can notice the Ubuntu cursor shows up in the bottom right side of the console, but I am not able to control it with my mouse.

(commands I used to convert ".vhdx" to ".qcow2" (there are two disks being converted as the original VM was created with two disks)
qemu-img convert -O qcow2 /var/lib/vz/images/100/Ubuntu-22.04-LTS.vhdx /var/lib/vz/images/100/vm-100-disk-0.qcow2
qemu-img convert -O qcow2 /var/lib/vz/images/100/Transcode.vhdx /var/lib/vz/images/100/vm-100-disk-1.qcow2
I can control the machine with noVNC side panel shortcut buttons for example Pressing the "CTRL+ALT+DEL" button works and pressing "ESC" will close it, tab will go through the update prompt options.

I have tested other Operating systems to see if this occurs and luckily it did not have any issue with a freshly installed Ubuntu 22.04 .ISO. I was able to use my mouse and keyboard through installation and when it booted my mouse and keyboard functionality still retained. (no problems with a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04).
