Huawei 2288h installing ERROR: could not insert 'isst_if_mbox_msr'

When installing ProxMox 6.1 and 6.2 on the Huawei 2288h v5 server from an ISO image, I encountered this error:
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'isst_if_mbox_msr' : Input/output error

Which tool do you use for burn iso to usb Stick? or do you use DVD?

Used an iso image via Virtual DVD in the server and tried through the current box Zalman ZM-VE400 (virtual CD)

Hello, I registered in this forum in order to share my solution.
Here it is:

I encountered the same error ...could not insert 'isst_if_mbox_msr', so after several attempts, I found a tool that helped me to create the correct bootable installation USB stick: Rufus (https://rufus.ie/).

IMPORTANT NOTE: create bootable USB in DD mode of Rufus! After clicking Start and when prompted by pop-up window, change radio button to DD Image mode!

Same error installing proxmox 7.2 on Dell PowerEdge but followed by a loss of display (monitor goes into standby).

using dd to create installer USB made no difference.

created installer with promox 7.0 iso, and then upgraded to 7.2 via shell.

All worked fine after that.
