HPN-SSH on proxmox (faster storage/computer migration?)

Given that Proxmox performs live/storage migration over SSH I think this would be pretty significant

Any chance of a deb file for a compile using this patch? Our cluster is linked over 10gbe so getting 50-100 MBytes/sec for something like live migration was previously confusing.

Hello! Just add "migration_unsecure: 1" (without quotes) into /etc/pve/datacenter.cfg and migration speed will increase dramatically

Thanks for your reply Loki. I'm going to assume that "migration_unsecure: 1" is the qemu parm. The purpose of the hpn-ssh patch is to make encrypted ssh traffic fast. I suspect a lot of proxmox users don't run their cluster over a dedicated network as the default install pretty much uses your VMBR0 for your LAN.

In my case your recommended solution shouldn't be a problem but I would caution any user who has anything on their cluster network other than the pve nodes from doing this as live migration would be the unencrypted RAM of the VM and storage migration would be the disk image.

I'll give this change a test and post the results for comparison.
