HPE ProLiant DL380 server. Proxmox installer crashes after 30 seconds

Hey, struggling to install Proxmox on an HPE DL380 Gen10. The boot menu loads fine but as soon as I select any install option it crashes after 30 seconds then reboots. Tried both graphical and terminal installers, tried different USB ports and flashing tools.

There is a flashing orange health light but i checked system health and it says its all healthy.

Don't know much about this stuff adivce would be great.

Anyone seen this before or know a fix?

Well, a blinking amber light is an UNHEALTHY system, so you are going to have to dig into the system (ILO etc.) to discover the cause.

This does not look like a PVE issue.

Consider the following:
  1. What is the history of this server?
  2. RAM modules.
  3. Storage.
  4. Power Supply/s.
  5. Cabling.
  6. Fans / Temps.
As a test - try some simple Linux OS to see if the system is bootable/installable at all.
