Hi All,

I have three really powerful systems including a Dell Epyc that do not have available JBOD.

I can serve up individual Raid-0 Disks for CEPH -

Is this supported please?

Is there another solution to create SDS on such enterprise grade systems or another method for HA storage without a SAN?

While it's true PERCs do support HBA passthrough, they use the megaraid driver. Whereas, a Dell HBA, like a HBA330, uses the much simpler mp3sas driver.

I swapped out all PERCs from 13th & 14th-gen Dells and replaced them with HBA330s. No issues.

Why do you have a problem with the Megaraid driver?
Many storage virtualizations, both closed and open source, explicitly support these controllers with this driver.
