Oh OK, obviously it was the /etc/hosts being not adapted - glad you figured that out.

Why Proxmoxs does keep using a graphical installer when the vast proportion of hardware it runs on is server class is beyond my understanding !

A simple blue text installer like debain would be a lot easier !!!

Don't forget: you can only once create a first impression ( loosely translated from french)
