Howto Rename Datastore

Hi,

I did a typo createing one of my Datastores in our PBS. Is there (may be a manual/cli) a save way to change the datastore name ?

Would be fine if someone can explain this.

Hi,

The simplest way is probably to manually edit the datastore configuration file directly, it can be found at: /etc/proxmox-backup/datastore.cfg, its format is pretty much self-explanatory.

Wow, that was simple. Didn't even need to reboot; I could see from the shell that the name updated in the Datastore menu (gui) almost immediately.
This is going to make migrating the store to another disk a lot easier.
