Hello,

i'm a little confused ... I have a server with SAS disk attached (not iSCSI). I "see" those disk in Proxmox in Datacenter/Storage : /dev/sdb & /dev/sdc with type "partitions". I have activated multipath and have a /dev/mapper/san.

First question : is it normal to view the 2 disks in Datacenter/Storage or should i see the /dev/mapper ?
Second : how use this disk when creating a VM ? I have the message "no disk available" (I have the message in French but it would be something like that).

I have tried to create a VG but no success (i see the LV in LVM but with 100% use).

I don't know where to go, if you have a lead ...

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english :)

you have to configure your SAN first.
create lun on SAN, configure multipath on proxmox side and then configure lvm on proxmox.....

Hello,

thanks for your replies. I figured out, I have re-create a PV and a VG and finally add the VG in the datacenter/Storage GUI config.
Works fine now :)
