How to use Free Space of a "Used" Disk

Hello, I have 2x 240GB SSD and 1x 2TB HDD.
I have a RAID 5 to get 500GB "safe" Storage.
But on my HDD I would like to use the other 1.6TB to asign to a VM (yes I know it won't be safe storage)

Everywhere where I can create something I get "No unused Disk".

Can anyone tell me what I can do to achieve it?

Thank you very much!

You could use the CLI and manually partition your disks. Lets say you partition your HDD with a 256GB partition and a 1744GB Partition. You could then create a raid5 with that 256GB partition and use the 1744GB partition for something else.

But in my opinion that all makes no sense. As soon as you use a HDD in combination with your SSDs in a raid5 you basically slow down your SSDs to the performance of that slow HDD. So you basically get 500GB of storage that isn'T faster than your HDD so you could also just use the 2TB HDD.
Everything else than raid1 or raid0 with only those two SSDs makes no sense.
So I would either use raid0 for 500GB of very fast SSD storage and then backup everything to the HDD or use raid1 for 250GB of fast SSD storage with redundancy (and backups to the HDD would make sense too as raid never replaces a backup).
