How to use "/data" (pve-data) for "VZdump backup file" rather than /root (pve-root)

Hi all, I've been unable to use "/data" (pve-data) for "VZdump backup file" content rather than /root (pve-data) .

I have a 1 TiB primary drive and have performed a standard install. /root is 100 GiB, and /data is over 800 GiB. I am using a separate zfs pool to store my VMs.

How can I use the 800+ GiB /data partition for "VZdump backup file" content, as right now I'm constrained with the 100 GiB /root partition for VZdump backups.

The easiest is to mount the "data" partition to something like /mnt/data
https://confluence.jaytaala.com/display/TKB/Mount+drive+in+linux+and+set+auto-mount+at+boot

Then create a storage object in Proxmox of a "directory" type:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage:_Directory

Mark it with appropriate content type for backup.
