I'm sharing this with the group in case anyone else wants to build a CI environment for Proxmox testing. It makes for a decent Proxmox health check as well.
To reduce cycle time, we needed a small footprint Cloud image for our internal testing and development. Cirros is a well-known image used by Openstack developers; it has a tiny disk, cpu, and memory footprint. The CloudInit version in the CirrOS image is not 100% compatible with the Proxmox default CloudInit format. Here's a knowledge base article for how to use CirrOS in Proxmox.
