How to suspend a backup on PBS 3?

Hi, I need to backup severals Tb (6,5) of data in one VM. The VM is on a Dell Server and PBS in a VM in a Synology NAS (4 cores, 4 Gb RAM). The backup speed is 35 Mbits /s. The process takes too many machine resources to leave it active during the day when users are connected. So for me 2 solutions : Limit backup from 22h00 (10 PM) to 6h00 (6 AM) or have a command to suspend the process and relaunch it manually. How to do this?

Hey,

neither of what you propose will work. What you can do is create a backup job[1] and run it manually, in backup jobs you can set a bandwidth limit under "Advanced".

There has to be, what version of PVE are you running?
