How to setup Proxmox to be able access it on public IP?

Hi guys,

I would like to know how to setup Proxmox and it’s VMs to be able access it on the internet.

We have 5 static IP addresses from business fibre and home fibre installed in the same place.

I want to be able access my Proxmox through my home connection

I also have:

1. Domain
2. Static IP configuration information from my ISP with Gateway IP, Subnetmask, IP subnet,
list of 5 usable IPs IPs are permanent and no ports are blocked, because it’s Business Fibre

I will have full cluster 32 nodes each will have its own IP. Should I use information from my ISP configuration instructions for it to be publicly accessible, because I am currently trying to do it through Local network router.. and it doesn’t work. I definitely do something wrong If there is guys from western Canada. I am with Telus Business PureFibre 5 gigabit

I would not expose the management interface of Proxmox to the public internet.
In theory it is "safe," or at least as safe as the root/admin passwords... but I still wouldn't do it.
You want a VPN to manage things.
If you want to host services on the VMs with Proxmox, that's a different matter... there are a lot of ways to handle that, but generally you want some sort of firewall involved first.
