OK so just had a weird problem trying to get Proxmox or the rather limited options on Hetzner
It kept setting eth0 as the default with all the settings so I couldn't setup a vmbr
In the end I ended up opening proxmox GUI and copying all the settings from eth0 and then deleting the settings from eth0 and creating vmbr0 and putting all the setting in there
Remember to disable autostart on eth0 and all setting should be blank
vmbr should have all your setting originally from eth0 double check them enable autostart and reboot
