How to pass a GPU to a VM

Hello,

Ive been trying to pass my Nvidia Quadro 4000 over to my windows 10 VM, but every time I add the PCIe device to the VM in the hardware management section, it comes up with a ‘No IOMMU detected, please activate it. See Documentation for further information’ Error.
If this helps, I am running a Dell Poweredge R720 with two Intel Xeon E5-2630 v2 CPUs

Look the Proxmox Wiki article about PCI passthrough. There is a complete article. You need to enable IOMMU first by editing Proxmox files and the bios. And you might need to backlist your GPU drivers.
