How to partition boot SSD (ZRaid1)

When configuring the installation I can enter the disk options and size the partitions.
However, if I decide to do the mirroring on a second disk right away, in the advanced options I don't find these options and the whole disk is used.
Is this correct or did I do something wrong?
Is there any way to make better use of the disk with a different partitioning?

I am installing an HP DL380G8 server with 2 Xeon 8 cores, 64GB of memory, 2 SSD da 480GB (for boot) e 6 other 300GB drives.

Thanks in advance.

proxmox let u not choose which partition layout so u can build it with a debian 11 manually. search in the wiki!

if u sure than nobody can give u an answer. with zfs as boot configuration u get 2 volumes for system and vms+lxc. what need u more?

By selecting only one disk, I can partition it, for example define how big the Swap is. If I select two disks in RAID1, I can only decide how much space to use overall.
I then saw that I cannot use RAID-Z with only two disks.
At this point I am undecided:
-use all or part of the 480GB in RAID1 and then use the rest of the space for other things. But how much space do I have to dedicate?
-partition one disk only and then, once Proxmox has started, create RAID1 on the second disk.

I actually Meanwhile a second problem to boot, but I create a separate post

the size of the zfs partition can u control with the hdsize-parameter. the swap vol can u reconfigure after installation. no problem. it's zfs.
