How to parse file from backup?

Hi,
I did it before but I don't remember sharp. But it took a long time I only remember.
Is there any easy way incase of parsing files from guest backup file? Accidently they deleted some files from samba share directory And I need to rescue them.


P.S.: I don't use backup server unfortunatelly.

You could restore the backup to a different ID and copy the files over.

I do it. Thanks. But unfortunatelly it started with the same IP address and I got problem little bit because 2 same IP il one network.

I need to stop original guest and start coppied one. Copy files out and stop again. And restart original guest again.

Wouldn't it be easier to change one of the IP's and use rsync or scp?

Another way would be to unpack the virtual disk, mount it and copy off the files. Yes not for beginners. PBS would be a few clicks, so best you start to use PBS soon.
