How to install pfsense as a VM inside proxmox and handle all traffic before all VM

I had similar issue with VMWare ESXI. I have Proxmox behing ESXI and virtual machines didn't have any networking. I fixed it by changing network switch security settings on VMWare to Allow everything. See picture attached. Hope it helps

I install proxmox in vmware workstation 12 pro , then i login with https://myipaddress:8006 and i installed Pfsense , when i try to start console i receive this msg :'(
VM 100 not running
TASK ERROR: Failed to run vncproxy.
I have installed pfsense before without any probleme need help , thanks

As been said, running pfsense on proxmox (with virtio or not) is not recommended.
You can check : https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/VirtIO_Driver_Support#Disable_Hardware_Checksum_Offloading

It should be better with 2.4, which based on FreeBSD 11 and this will have better integration for virtualization.

well he is not running pfSense on Proxmox, does he?
he tries to run pfSense on Proxmox that in turn runs in VM on ESXi.

the only valid question here is WHY?

it works but not in double nested setup.
in my case I run Proxmox on Real Hardware and pfSense in VM. 'it works well for me.
