How to Install "make" ?

Hi,

I am new on the forum and first I will thank you for the great product you developing.

I tryed to install Xymon ( monitoring tool for servers), but I get error message becouse make is not installed on the system:
mailgw:/home/xymon/xymon-4.3.7# ./configure --client; make
Configuration script for Xymon client
This script asks a few questions and builds a Makefile to compile Xymon
Checking your make-utility
GNU make is required to build Xymon.
If it is available as "gmake", run configure as: 'MAKE=gmake ./configure.client'
-bash: make: command not found
mailgw:/home/xymon/xymon-4.3.7#
mailgw:/home/xymon/xymon-4.3.7#



I find that apt-get is not possible to use. My machine is:

mailgw:/home/xymon/xymon-4.3.7# uname -a
Linux mailgw 2.6.27-2-proxmox #1 SMP Mon Nov 30 10:51:49 CET 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

Das anyone know how to install make?
