How to install Denyhost on Proxmox

Has anyone ever installed denyhost on proxmox?

If so, has some advice to share?
Is available a step to step howto installation guide?

we're on a Debian based system, you can use the repositories (check your /etc/apt/sources.list file)

 # aptitude update ; aptitude install denyhost

and that's all
should work

looks like the installation went fine, but I can not find the configuration file and the dir /usr/share/denyhosts/ as mentioned in the howtoforge post.
any tips?
