I have an APC PSU plugged on which I plugged a synology NAS and 2 proxmox servers. Using a USB connection to the pSU , the Synology NAS is
it is able to cleanly shutdown when the battery is running out. Which is fine, but the servers running proxmox will crash.

The Synology NAS can start an UPS server:

Can we retrieve the events from this server in aproxmox instance and set it to shutdown cleanly at a certain level? What would be the other way to do it?

Hi,

you can configure the server(NAS, PVE) what is connected to the USV to function as a server.
This way, you get the shutdown command over IP.
For this kind of setup, you must install the "apcupsd" and configure it.
Ensure that the network ist working if you have a blackout because if not, the clients will never receive the shutdown command.
