I've tried hard to avoid posting this question, and have searched the forum, read the documentation and hunted through YouTube videos, without success. I am sure i am overlooking something simple, but I give up after weeks of searching.
I have Proxmox 6.2 with 3 LXC containers and 3 Ubuntu 18.04 VMs. I want to access those VMs using the admin account I set up within the PVE realm. I can log into the Proxmox host using PVE authentication, but cannot log into VMs using the PVE account.
I have all VMs, containers and storage in a pool. and my admin group is assigned to that pool. My PVE admin account is assigned to the group.
How does the Linux VM or container know to use PVE for authentication?
