how to download os templates

i've just installed proxmox 2, there is no os template, where should i download them? and where to store? /var/lib/vz/image/ ?

you need to manually download them to your 2.0 beta.

default, you can store them on /var/lib/vz/template/cache - same like on 1.9. but you can also use other places, e.g. you can store all your templates and iso on a separate NFS server.

if connect via ssh to your 2.0 beta, just get the templates with wget (see http://download.proxmox.com/appliances/)
