i have upgraded one of the servers to 1.2 version all stable and working extremely fine

my question is i would like to use another physical network interface to connect to other cluster machine to be able to more speed and utilizing the 1gb network card in transferring machines live migration & other cluster tasks

i have 2 server each are connected to my network my target is have 2 more network cards to connect them both through internal gb sw

please advice on how to achieve that

see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Bond_configuration_(Video)

which mode is working and what you can configure depends on your network cards and your switch infrastructure. (active-backup works always)

thanks for the video link
still iam unable to understand how the cluster configuration going to route the live migration an cluster action to 2nd private Ethernet card which let us say connected by corss cable to the other server

another question
now i have on the server vmbr0 to eth0
vmbr1 to eth0.1
vmbr2 to eth0.2
how this will work with bond0
would it be like bond0.2
for example or how the vlans which the guest machines assigned to would work

You can configure a bond to simply use both network connection - increasing the transfer rate. This is not exactly what you requested (I dont know howto achieve that).

i will play around with
/etc/pve/cluster.cfg

and let you know how it will go :)

my plan is
1- add the 2nd network interface on different subnet mask
2- connect both 2nd network interface on both servers
3- try to edit cluster.cfg ips
4- if it didnt work i will try to add the slave node via other network card

will not work without major changes. the whole cluster system will change in 2.x so I do not recommend you go further here.
