Hi all,
My question is a silly one. I have a two-node cluster, but I realized that I really don't need the second node and would like to keep it off to save electricity. Is there a way to keep the cluster running with one node turned off? I can turn it on occasionally for updates etc. as necessary. That way I don't have to set up the cluster again in the future, as opposed to deleting the node and reinstalling it. I actually tried this, but my backup job failed since – I believe – a quorum was not reached without the node to run that job. What are your thoughts and recommendations?
