I installed Proxmox VE on a 500Gb SSD and while I waited for new cables to come in order to hook up hard drives to my server, I installed a Debian12VM 100Gb and a few LXC containers.
I added a 256Gb SSD to the Node and as a hard disk scsi1, RAW disk, size 238GB to the VM
I have 2- 1TB drives that I would like to combine as a RAID1 then mount that as /home in the Debian12 VM . I have been using Debian for years and I always create at least partitions and mount points /boot / & /home and that is what I would like to do here but /boot & / on 256GB SSD and /home on 1TB RAID1
Then I would move the VMs storage / from 100GB of the 500SSD to the 256GB SSD. Then I could delete the current 100GB LVM which hold the VM.
I have been reading over various parts of the Proxmox documentation, but I am still confused and unsure if what I want to do is possible, and definitely don't know how to do it.
Any suggestions?
Also, the 14TB hard drive was pulled out of a TrueNAS Scale server and connected to this server, but I haven't done anything with it yet.
Thanks
