How to Assign Public IP To each VM?

Dear Friends,

I've been trying to assign Each VM it's own public IPv4 address. I have one Firewall which acts as a Gateway for All my Proxmox Servers. I looked up at Proxmox's Network Configuration guide but it is hard to comprehend for newbie like me. Is it even possible to give Each VM it's own Public IP address?

Hello,

Yes. you could just configure the public IP inside each VM via "/etc/network/interfaces" [1]. But if you are using a private network with a gateway, setup a 1:1 NAT (map one public ip to each private ip) [3] on that gateway.
