How do I use Ubuntu 24.04 minimal images for LXC containers

I was wondering if anybody was able to successfully use ubuntu minimal 24.04 rootfs tar.xz for creating LXC containers.
I just started using their .img file for VMs and it's great, but I was not able to do the same for LXC containers.
Standard Proxmox template gallery contains only normal live server image
