How do I limit the allocated disk space for CephFS?

You misunderstood me. I want to convert a network of monitors to a 1 Gbit network through which users connect to the VMs.

I would not do that. First off, the assumption with all the tooling is that the MONs live in the Ceph Public network. The VMs wanting to connect to the CephFS don't only connect to the MONs, but also the MDS and individual OSDs, all via the Ceph Public network.
