How do I add these 3 ZFS drives to my Proxmox drive pool?

Hello Everyone.

Ok. I a total newbee to Proxmox (and Unix as a whole) but my bosses put me incharge of the Proxmox server, so what do you do... My challenge is I have a newly installed Proxmox server setup and installed onto an internal solid state hard drive. Hardware is a SuperMicro X11SSZ-F . (I know... It's all they had to spare...)

I have 3 hot swappable drives that I believe are being managed by the onboard RAID controller. They show up under DRIVES as ZFS, but Is there a way to add these to the PM host in order to be able to use them for one of my VM's that will be running TrueNas? (only 1 is showing up in the pic, I pulled the other 2 till I get it figured out...) But they all show up as seperate 3TB drives formatted as ZFS.

Thanks for the info.
I have gone thru all of the posts, and can't seem to find anything that helps me with this...

Tim.

If all the 3 disks (if plugged in) show up, they are most likely not managed by any HW Raid controller.

Is there still any data on them that you want to keep?

You can plug in all 3 and run zpool import (without any further parameters the disks will only be scanned) to see if ZFS finds a pool in these disks. It should show you information about the pool and which disks are part of it.

You can then decide to use that pool and add it as a storage or to wipe the disks and start from scratch.
