Actually I have OpenMediaVault running as VM into ESXi environment to be migrated into proxmox.
From the same ESXi host I've migrated a PBX VM, it's pretty straigthforward, just changed SCSI controller to VMware PVSCSI and NIC to VirtIO and all is working fine.
The problem in doing so with the OMV VM is the exporting operation tries to export the whole 2TB storage (while PBX was only 40GB shrinked in 8GB+ image)
Actual data size of OMV storage is just 25GB, what do you suggest ?
I could backup data into external storage then remove/resize OMV datastore in order to be exported and migrated with further resizing once migrated.
How would you do ?
