How can I install Proxmox with a vm router on the same machine?

Hello, I've installed Proxmox VE and the machine shows pinging to 8.8.8.8.
I now need to install some type of GUI like Ubuntu 22.04 or pfSense for vm routing.
Any suggestions please?

You PVE box is already a router if you have a routed setup. Setting up another one and putting PVE behind that is a bit tricky.
